FAQ
3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced cross-section of the object. 3D printing is the opposite of subtractive manufacturing which is cutting out / hollowing out a piece of metal or plastic with for instance a milling machine. 3D printing enables you to produce complex shapes using less material than traditional manufacturing methods. This process also means that when we design your jewellery, we are able to make large and lightweight earrings, at a low cost.
Unless otherwise stated, all of our jewellery is hand made just for your order, because of this our usual production time is 1-2 weeks. If you need your jewellery by a specific date, please add the "Rush Order Add-On" to your cart, and let us know what date you need your jewellery by, we will try our best to get them to you by that date.
You absolutely can! We know that a lot of performers out there don't have their ears pierced, so since day 1 we have always offered a Clip-On Add-On. On every earring product page of the website, you will see the option to add Clip-Ons to your earrings. This is an additional $1.95, and we glue a pair of Clip-Ons to your studs. Although our earrings are as lightweight as we can make them, we still recommend using spirit gum to glue your clip-ons to your ears so that they don't come off. (Make sure you also have a spirit gum remover)
We have a forever expanding range of different filaments that your jewellery can be made out of.
We offer 4 main sizes in our earring options, 60mm, 80mm, 100mm, 120mm. We recommend measuring the space between your earlobe and your collarbone to see how much free space you have for large earrings. Below is a reference photo of our 4 main different sizes so that you can get an idea of how large your earrings will be with the size that you select.
We offer a wide variety of custom earring options, but the limits truly are endless. Your first point of reference should be having a scroll through the Custom page, if you still don't see what you want, please don't hesitate to fill out the Contact Us form on the website or email us at contact@missmadison.com.au
We're always adding new options to our website, and new colour varieties. Because all of our jewellery is made specifically for you, we can customise almost anything you would like. If you see a Glamour Collection style that you like, but you can't find the colour you want, please get in touch and it's more than likely that we will be able to create what you want, or at the very least we will be able to tell you if/when the colour option you want will be in stock.
